I’ve been living a life so lonely and for so long
I wondered what was missing and what went wrong
It’s never been easy for me
To find the one I could spend time in harmony
But everything changed when you came into my life
You filled that missing hole and took away the strife
It was something about you that I can’t deny

Waiting 4 You We are like distant lands
Separated by the oceans
Messages were tides slamming our shores
Loud yet unclear
On the cliff I faced the horizon
Confused, as the sunset became near

The Puppet I was a puppet and you were the puppeteer
Dangling beneath you, restrained in lassoes

It was a controlled life, a life that wasn't mine
Mine without the freedom, nor joy, nor happiness
Where ever I went, you were watching
Fear that I would escape and never returning
When your intentions are accomplished

Darkness took over
